Fees and Funding

A standard 50-minute consultation: $275
Concession 50-minute consultation: $235
Concession is offered to those who need it. If you are experiencing financial hardship or have government health care and concession cards, let’s make it affordable. -
Payment is simple. After your session, the card details you provide at the start of therapy will be used to process payment automatically—no need to worry about it on the day. If you're eligible for a Medicare rebate, I’ll take care of that for you once payment has gone through. Easy!
-
If you have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP or psychiatrist, you can receive a Medicare rebate of around $145 per session. This brings standard sessions down to about $130 and concession sessions to around $90. Medicare covers up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
To get a MHCP, book a long consultation with your GP or chat with your psychiatrist.
-
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate on psychology sessions—best to check with your provider to see what’s covered. After your session, I’ll send you an invoice, which you can use to make your claim directly with them. Just a heads-up: Medicare and private health can’t be used for the same appointment.
-
I offer services through NDIS, WorkSafe, TAC, and VOCAT on a case by case basis. Please contact me to discuss if you would like to use funding through a 3rd party.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. If it’s any less, the full session fee will still apply, as I won’t be able to offer the spot to someone else in time. This applies even if you face unforeseen circumstances.
I appreciate your understanding—it helps me keep things running smoothly and ensures everyone gets the support they need.

No, you don’t need a referral to start. However, if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you’ll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP or psychiatrist. If you’re using Medicare, I’ll need a copy of your referral.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24-48 hours’ notice to avoid the cancellation fee, which is the cost of the session. This allows me to offer the session to someone else who may be waiting for an appointment. I always appreciate as much notice as possible.

Many private health insurance providers offer rebates for psychology. It’s best to contact your insurer to check what your policy covers. If you’re claiming through private health, you’ll need to submit the claim directly to your insurer after payment.
